On Tuesday, voters in over 20 states will have a chance to help select the presidential candidates of the two major parties. If you are a citizen who lives in one of those states, we urge you to vote. Armenian-American organizations and individuals have been very active in educating the campaigns about our community’s particular concerns and priorities. The early primary season has seen a surge in voter participation and the candidates vying for office have done their share of empowering and informing the electorate. Armenia’s economic renaissance

The investment climate in Armenia received another major accolade this week in the form of the Index of Economic Freedom prepared by the Heritage Foundation and the Wall Street Journal. Armenia’s economy is the 28th freest in the world, up from 32nd last year, according to the index. It is the 15th freest in Europe, and the freest among the members of the Commonwealth of Independent States. Read the rest of this entry »
